MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
INTRODUCTION:
This activity, is concentrated in improve the English skills of the students, as we know, musical instruments is maybe one of the most topics of interest in children, it doesn't matter if the kid play or not an instrument, the thing is that this kind of topic in one activity, is very good to engage the students and capture their attention, besides, this is not just a walk to learn only about music. The activity brings the possibility to improve writing and pronunciation skills in the student, and is a new to teach something in a way more fun and interesting.
LEVEL: BASICAGES: No matter the age of the student, we are talking about, adult or child who are just starting learning this new language.
PRESENTATION: The purpose of this activity, is that the student can learn the musical instruments in English, using repetitive exercises for the student can take the principal idea. Coming up, we will show some tools for our teaching, and they help to visualize and understand better the topic.
TOOLS: J-Clic and Educaplay, these softwares should be installed in all the computers located in the classroom, to facilitate the use of this material and motivate the student in a new atmosphere, where we don't notebooks or pencils, instead of that, we work with digital tools which transforms the class in a more fun way.
TIME:
1 hour divided in:
15 minutes, 7 minutes the introduction and 8 minutes for a little explanation about what we are going to do
15 minutes, to teach how to download the first activity made in J-Clic and upload the links from the other activities from Educaplay to my Blog, and tell the students how to get into my Blog and click on the activity.
35 minutes, the students work with the material downloaded, in all that time, repeating and repeating until they learn about this topic, and improve the vocabulary and pronunciation skills.
OBJECTIVES: .put in practice the use of verb to-be which is the basic topic in the learning of English.
. Teach everything about musical instruments as a principal topic to capture the attention and get the students engaged
. Through the use of digital activities, using images to recognize the objects and learn how to say it in English
. Improve vocabulary and pronunciation skills
ACTIVITY J-Clic: First, they need to click on the link below, and download the activity which contains 9 exercises related with musical instruments, each one followed by another. The objective is that the student can get some fun while he/she is learning, but to not forget the importance of how to write and pronoun this new words, and the fact of know this new words, is the principal sense of the activity to keep in forward,

ACTIVITY Educaplay: In this one, they don't need to download anything, the links of the activities to solve on line, will be uploaded in my Blog, obviously, I will teach step by step how to get in my Blog and click on the links located there, and tell them the order of the activities, it is something similar to J-Clic, on some activities, but here, is more difficult, because in one or two of these activities, they need to use verb to-be to complete some sentences, guided with good instructions that they can follow easily.

And for next coming class, each one of you must choose the musical instrument that you like more or appeals to you, and put it in class with the same form of description, fluency and pronunciation will be considered, So be careful with pauses, intonation, and pronunciation, eye contact will also be part of the qualification.
